Research project: Inter-university relations
In 2013, a research project on inter-university relations was launched at the Academic Cultural Heritage Department. The project focused on academic exchanges between the University of Cluj and the universities in Iași, Bucharest, and Vienna.
Research project: The Line of Study in German at Babeș-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca
Occasioned by the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Line of Study in German at Babeș-Bolyai University, the Historical Archive initiated a comprehensive research project dedicated to the history of German-language education in Cluj and the links between Cluj universities and the German academic world.
Digitization Project of the Historical Archive of the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca
In 2020, a project was launched to digitize the historical archive of Babeș-Bolyai University, for which the DocuShare application was purchased and adapted to the needs of a historical archive.
Research project: The Memoirs of Professor Alexandru Borza
The purpose of the Historical Archive is to make known and accessible documents that illustrate the past of the University of Cluj, as well as the exceptional careers of the professors who have taught here over time.
Digitization project: The BBU Students Database (1919–1989)
In 2022, the Historical Archive of Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca initiated an ambitious project to create a database with all students enrolled at the Cluj higher education institution since 1919.
