In 2013, a research project on inter-university relations was launched at the Academic Cultural Heritage Department. The project focused on academic exchanges between the University of Cluj and the universities in Iași, Bucharest, and Vienna. Three members of the BBU Archive team worked on this project, namely scientific researchers Dr. Cecilia Cârja and Dr. Ioana-Mihaela Bonda, and document researcher Dr. Florin Nicolae Ardelean.
The project resulted in the publication of three volumes:
