The role of the BBU Archive. Responsibilities and prospects
- Managing the university’s historical archive fonds in compliance with national and international archival standards
- Document research for scientific and practical purposes
- BBU representation at scientific events and projects intended for the academic community and the general public
- Operation based on the legal provisions in force and in compliance with its own decisions for the administration, supervision, and special protection of the BBU Historical Fonds
General objectives
- Digitization of the historical document collection
- Creation of a digital photo-video archive
- Promotion of the documents in the BBU Archive through scientific research and the publishing of specialized articles and books
- Cooperation with university archives in Romania and abroad
- Elaboration of projects and programs for the development of the BBU Archive Service
- Development of recommendations on modern archiving methods for BBU document creators
- Providing expert advice and assistance to the public interested in the history of the university
- Completing the documentary heritage
